Meet the Team
Steve joined DCRS in 1994 to open the Northern Regional Office as Hire Manager, having been in the radio communications business since 1984 first as a Radio Installation Engineer then as Hire Manager for a Motorola dealer based in Sheffield. Since that time, he then progressed to General Manager of DCRS, Sales Director and was recently promoted to Managing Director. He has seen DCRS grow and prosper in all areas of the business, and he quotes ‘I’m proud of the team we have and the dedication of all staff in the company’. Many clients who Steve bought with him into the company in 1994 still are DCRS clients today. ‘This is a testament to the service we offer’. Steve deals with all commercial aspects of the company and still gets involved with clients on a hire and sales basis and enjoys site installation work on hire contracts and meeting customers.
Out of work his passion is travelling including caravanning in the UK and France with his wife and dog Jasper. He enjoys family time, walking, socialising with friends and enjoys Formula 1. His bucket list includes travelling through Europe and America in a motorhome and visiting all the Grand Prix on the F1 circuit.
Ash joined DCRS at the beginning of 2012. As the Sales Manager, Ash heads up the DCRS sales team and spends his time developing existing relationships and generating new business opportunities. Ash assist’s further in the commercial side of the business with documentation and procedures to ensure the company’s continuing successful growth.
Away from work, Ash is an avid football fan, supporting his local team Sheffield United home and away. Been a sporting man back in the day, not many people know that Ash was once the British Ice Dance Champion back in the early 1990’s! Ash now spends most of spare time now taking his son to after school activities to include Football, Swimming and Biking.
Internal Account Manager
Hannah joined DCRS in 2010. Hannah’s role is to keep our clients happy by quickly and accurately dealing with a wide range of enquiries. Hannah’s specific responsibilities include managing existing accounts covering all customer requirements from taking the initial enquiry, sending out a personalised quotation to suit their needs to processing the order amongst other admin duties.
Outside of work Hannah enjoys socialising with friends and family and keeping fit amongst being ruled by her ragdoll cat Pixie!
Senior Hire Coordinator/Sales Support
Ray joined DCRS originally as a temp in April 1998. Ray’s role is to support the hire and sales departments. Ray’s responsibilities include managing existing and new accounts specialising in hire covering all customer requirements from taking the initial enquiry, sending out a personalised quotation to suit their needs to processing the order amongst other admin duties. She enjoys attending trade shows and meeting clients.
Outside of work Ray enjoys playing racketball and squash and socialising with friends and family. She also attends various small festivals each year, mainly 80’s and tribute acts with friends which involves getting back to basics by camping on site.
Megan joined DCRS in June 2022. Megan’s role is to look after all marketing operations for the company, making sure to get the word out to clients and potential clients about all things two-way radios via email, social media, the website, and other forms of advertising.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys socialising with friends, going on holiday, and constantly looking at what decorating and renovating jobs she can pass onto her partner who is a joiner. Megan also has 20 years’ experience as a dancer specialising in Ballet, Disco Freestyle, and Latin. She has previously taught classes to a mix of all ages and levels.
Office Administrator/Sales Support
After 5 years working in administration, Amber joined DCRS in 2023, as Office Administrator / Sales Support. Amber’s role is to assist and support the sales team and Sales Manager, Ash. Amber maintains and develops relationships with previous, new, and existing customers. She also creates quotes, and processes orders for customers.
Outside of work, Amber owns a horse and often competes in a mixture of equine shows. Amber also enjoys going out with friends, watching her partner play rugby on a Saturday, and spending quality time with her family.
