Hytera has launched two additions to their ATEX DMR portfolio for 2018 – The PD715IS and PD795IS Digital Two-Way Radios
Certified with the highest possible ATEX security class “ia”, the PD715IS and the PD795IS digital two-way radios provide optimal occupational safety in potentially explosive areas. The handheld radios manufactured by Hytera are the first DMR radios authorised for use in areas with the highest level of protection, from Zone 0 for gas and Zone 20 for dust.
They meet the ATEX directives of the European Union, FM standards and IEC standards.
Innovative Construction -Silicone encapsulated technology helps prevent the internal circuits from being damaged by intrusive liquid, inflammable dust and explosive gases.
Ergonomic Design – Separate functions and large textured keys intelligently positioned to enhance operation accuracy.
Intelligent Audio – Combining noise cancelling technology to remove nuisance noise from the transmission, with powerful speakers to deliver clear communications.
Clever Design – PD795IS display and shell adopt anti-static design from the dual material moulding technology, resulting in a reduction in the static discharge on the radio.
GPS Location – Positioning and tracking come as standard, also including a man down feature ( see below).
Man Down – The radio man down feature will let you know if the two-way radio has been tilted past a certain angle. This may happen for instance if the radio user has fallen over or is unconscious or injured. The alarm will be triggered after a warning is issued to the user.
