A Two-Way Radio Dispatcher allows you to monitor large amounts of radio traffic. A simple and easy-to-use interface consists of one Radio Server which operates as a gate between radio stations and IP network, and an unlimited number of dispatcher consoles. To connect to radio networks, uses one, or more two-way radio stations. Dispatchers connect to the Radio Server via local wire, or wireless networks or the Internet and use IP protocol.

The Radio-to-Radio Recording solution allows network administrators to record, log, and playback any calls on two way radio networks, for both Radio-to Radio and Phone-to-Radio conversations. R2R, records and logs thousands of hours of voice traffic generated across a DMR radio system. This intelligent recording system provides an intuitive web based graphical interface to record local, or wide area voice traffic in either .mp3 or .wav formats.

Through your digital two-way radios, you can have a support package to ensure all of your staff are within easy reach, in real time. By utilising the PTT on a two-way radio the user when notified presses and releases to confirm that they are OK if the user does not communicate within the pre-defined time the radio will then go into an ‘emergency mode’. Utilising a loud audible tone the radio will warn the user to respond, if they do not it will set the emergency procedure into play, the radio controller and other users will then be notified.

Rugeley Power Station adopts MOTOTRBO™ for enhanced worker communications. Its main site, with large steelworks and subterranean areas creates a challenging communications environment, but the proliferation of reinforced concrete and girder work in the FGD meant there had been little or no radio coverage on the analogue system in this particular area. While reception in the main site was generally good, coverage in underground areas and on the periphery of the site could also be marginal. This not only had serious implications for perimeter security, it was a major cause for concern for the safety of the 200 workers operating on the main site.
