As the last year of our 20’s 2016 was notable for DCRS. We hit significant milestones while continuing to grow in our marketplace, introduced refreshed & new products into our portfolio from various manufacturers, and expanded our support team. Moreover and most importantly, we kept customers at the forefront of our focus. We continued to work with our clients and prospects to invest, grow and manage their radio systems and applications.
With work across multiple industries and our tender wins DCRS saw one of our most significant years in growth – we could not have got there without you, our clients.
2016 IN A SNAPSHOT …
The year started off with a large project upgrading Liverpool One to a MOTOTRBO™ digital radio system and ended in Hamburg installing a radio system into a luxury crewed yacht. We also kept our R & D Department busy with plenty of requests for new solutions such as a MOTOTRBO™ & TRBOnet System for an Airbus, and Boiler Controls at a Royal residence.
By listening to the needs of our clients and prospects we made it a goal to refine what products we supply ( anyone feeling a bit baffled by the choices available today?), ensuring we are only supplying manufacturers equipment we can support and maintain. We also continued to retain our Accolades & Accreditations.
Late 2016, we re-developed and launched our MOTOTRBO™ website to coincide with the new MOTOTRBO™ E Series giving it a fresh new look and operational access across multiple technological platforms. We are continuing to make tweaks, and if you see something you would like adding, please let us know, we are always open to suggestions! We are also currently redeveloping our main corporate website & online shop which we hope to launch in Q1 of 2017.
WE LET THE STAFF ESCAPE FOR A FEW DAYS …
During 2016, DCRS attended seven manufacturer conferences & meet- ups, our Sales Director was lucky enough to visit Mexico as a thank you from Motorola Solutions for our significant growth, we organised a hospitality day to thank our loyal clients and exhibited at eight business conferences & exhibitions. At these events, we handed out over 650 products & services guides to help us spread the word. The feedback and perspectives they bring are invaluable to our improvement.
WE GREW AS A TEAM …
Our team has become much stronger; our Engineers undertook more manufacturer training, and we welcomed another two people to our administration & stores team. We also saw two members of our team become Dads with the introduction of two new potential engineers – Congratulations!
Besides the milestones above we received some very positive reports from our clients throughout 2016, this is something that keeps us advancing and growing as a company. We are looking forward to what 2017 has to bring for us, our clients and partners.
