As a major player in the fast growing radio communications industry we are looking to recruit an experienced Sales/Account Manager/New Business Development Manager to be based from either/or our Headquarters in St Ives, Cambridgeshire or offices in Chesterfield.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish solid, long-term relationships with customer contacts at all levels through meetings, customer calls/site visits
- Act as a trusted adviser and consultant to customers throughout the sales cycle by actively applying relevant market knowledge
- Identify potential growth accounts and proactively seek out opportunities
- Target an identified customer base and continuously develop to gain market share, enhance margins and exceed targets
Preferred Skills:
- At least 5 years experience in both Analogue and Digital Radio Systems including radio applications
- Demonstrated experience in selling, negotiating and closing assigned accounts/markets
- Overall business knowledge: must understand how a business operates i.e. marketing, finance, purchasing, sales, credit, etc.
- Planning, prioritisation and organisation - skilled in prioritising multiple projects/tasks, tracking and following through on activities within a customer account
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, including negotiating price, terms, conditions and profitability of a deal
- Strong computing skills
- Must be able to work as part of a well established sales team

We are looking to recruit an experienced Customer Support / Sales Executive to work alongside our Account Managers dealing with radio systems and radio applications that we supply to new and existing clients. Based in our Chesterfield Office this position will involve work throughout the UK.
As an Ambassador for the company, excellent communication skills are imperative when speaking to clients with a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Ideally you will have:
- Radio Communications experience in both Analogue and Digital products
- Ability to adapt to new technologies
Role information:
- Visiting and demonstrating products & applications on site with customers
- Receive and processing customer orders
- Accurately update the CRM system
- Liaison with customers, colleagues and suppliers
- Dealing with customers over telephone and email
