New! ATEX Series Launched by Vertex

Two new ranges of ATEX approved radios have been developed that meet the stringent requirements of the ATEX (ATmospheres EXplosibles) framework - a set of directives now mandatory across all EU member states and EFTA countries, that relate to the control of explosive atmospheres and the equipment used in them.

The VX-820 ATEX and VX-920 ATEX Series are Intrinsically Safe and certified to meet ATEX approval specifications for gas protection to use in explosive hazardous settings.

All radios are:
IP57 submersible to one metre for 30 minutes
Approved for ATEX II 2G Ex ib IIC T4
