GP340/GP344 two way radios are appropriate for use in individual halls or halls in close proximity to each other as the radios have limited range when working in a standard conventional mode. Individual Repeaters can be installed to give extended site coverage on one specific channel per repeater.

Motorola GP680 Trunk two way radio and a trunk system comprises of 4 repeaters built into a rack with one of the repeaters being a control channel hence allowing 3 channels to work simultaneously at any one time.

Digital two way radio has already proved to give up to 25% improved coverage paths around the major exhibition halls in the Uk. On the MOTOTRBO DP3600 the standard set up is channel dependant working very similar to the Motorola GP340/344 range with the added features of individual calling, group calling and text messaging per channel. When opting to utilise a repeater or capacity plus with these products we have found we obtain 100 % optimum coverage at all sites including major exhibition halls where dead spots are prone with analogue radios.
